GENERAL INFORMATION

Welcome

It is our goal for you to have a fun and enjoyable experience at our facilities. Below is some information and terms that should clear up any questions you may have. If you still have questions, feel free to contact us and we would be glad to speak with you. Please check in with the office when you arrive.

Reservation Booking Notes:

All reservations information will be emailed to you at the time of booking. Please read and review this information to ensure your reservation dates are accurate and that you understand the terms and conditions of this contract.  Terms are considered as accepted by you for all bookings at the end of each business day.

As always, our current rates will be shown on our website. Where there are conflicts noted between our website rates and online booking rates, please advise our office so they may be corrected for you.

We accept Visa or Master Card  Sorry we do not accept American Express at this time. Transaction fees may apply for Credit Card purchases.  Debit card payments can not be accepted for phone in orders.

All camping rates include: One family per R.V (or sleeping unit) a family consists of 2 Adults and their dependent children under 18. Only one sleeping unit and one parking car per assigned stall. (most sites can accomodate more than one vehicle)

Large commercial vehicals (picker trucks, service trucks, utility or gooseneck trailers, etc)  are not permitted within the main campground. We do have designated parking space for your larger trucks and trailers available for a fee. 

Directions to Camp’N RV

Campground and Storage facility is located 9 Km West of Lloydminster on Hwy #16, North 1/4 Km at the corner of Range Road #22. The intersection has a large billboard sign marking the corner as well there are Blue Highway signs approximately 1/2 mile prior to the corner to turn at.

Hours of operation

Normal Office hours: 10 am to 10 pm daily April- October, hours may vary November – March normally there is someone in the office 4 pm – 8 pm, call ahead to coordinate arrival time is recommended.

Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am.

Visitors are permitted between 10 am and 10 pm and are required to check in at the office upon arrival.

If you are arriving late, please phone our office to make arrangements before 10 pm. Where you might be arriving after hours you may submit your reservation payment via our web page booking tab and quietly proceed to your site. Please be considerate to others that may be sleeping with loud vehicles or excessive noise.

Our community fire pits are intended to be extinguished by 11 pm. We expect children and activities after 11 pm to be limited to your campsite by 11 pm. Consider that noise and outdoor late-night conversations may be disturbing to other campers in the area.

Rates

GST(tax), and 3rd party booking fees are added to all posted rates.

Current site rates are posted on our website and are subject to change without notice.

Extended stay with periodic payments (ie over 8 week stays) can be made by contacting our office. First 4 weeks and last 2 weeks payments will be initially required for this type of booking.

Health

You may interact with us remotely by phone or email for payments and reservations. Advise us if you are ill or under quarantine so we may best accommodate your needs.

We follow Alberta Health orders and recommendations at this campground. Water is potable (drinkable) and water testing reports are posted at the Shower house and Common Room bulletin boards. Contact Ken at 780-875-4663 if you have any questions regarding our facilities.

Terms

Terms and Conditions are assumed as accepted and firm unless you respond to us by the end of the day of making your booking of any errors. You agree to accept these terms for extensions or modifications you made to your original reservation. All posted rates, specials, terms, conditions and policies are subject to change at any time without notice. All current information is available on our website.

Payment Method 

We gladly accept cash, e-transfer, MasterCard, Visa and Debit cards. Sorry no checks or credit offered.

Debit cards cannot be accepted for phone in transactions. Automatic payments and invoice notices can be set up at our office if you prefer for long term reservations. E-transfers can be made to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Transaction fees may be applied to in person Credit Card purchases and online payments.

Payment Policy 

Consult the campground office for additional costs for items or services not listed.

Reservation payment is due in full at time of booking for your entire term unless a payment plan is agreed to.

Deposits may be required on arrival in addition to site charges. i.e., electricity usage deposit. storage site security deposit, etc.

For on-line reservations: 100% of the site fees are applied at the time of the reservation.

Booking Fees are charged in addition of the site charge to cover fees assessed by the software developer to pay for costs associated with the online booking service and management software development and protection for your personal information. 

Overdue Accounts

Unfortunately, a small percentage of our clients leave prematurely without full payment for terms agreed too, do not pay scheduled invoiced amount due, or depart knowing they have unpaid portions of their account and often disregard our attempts to resolve these unpaid accounts.

In these few cases an administrative fee of $250.00 or 35% of the unpaid portion whichever is greater will be added to the invoice when not resolved within 31 days past the invoice date.

Unresolved accounts due extending beyond 31 days will be assessed this administration fee, and sent to our collection’s agency for follow-up.

Cancelation policy

Our cancellation policy and management discretionary decisions considers the length of the booking, time site has been held, notice given for modification, special circumstance, etc.

Cancellation penalties may be reduced with managers discretion for special circumstances and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Advisories including weather (rain, wind, snow, temperature), water quality, air quality, noise, wild animals, insects/pests (mosquitoes, wasps, mice, geese, etc.), fire bans, liquor bans, car trouble, getting lost, evictions, changes of plans/employment, early departures, or travel restrictions etc. are not be considered as special circumstances.

Modifications to existing bookings prior to arrival date: When availability permits, a modification to the original reservation arrival dates can be requested. Administration or appropriate cancelation fees for adjustments may apply.

Late Arrival or No Shows: Bookings made for a specific arrival date but arrived at a later date will not be refunded the fee for that site for the reserved days that are unoccupied.

Reservations are a firm contract between you and CampN RV. We prefer not so see cancelations but if you feel it is necessary to amend your contract, the following conditions apply:

Cancelations of reservations prior to your arrival date

  • Notice of over 7 days 50% of booking value will be forfeited up to 7-day value, remainder will be refunded
  • Notice of 7 days or less 100% of the booking value will be forfeited up to 7-day value, remainder will be refunded

Same day of booking- Requests to cancelled a reservation or modify arrival dates made on the same day the booking was made will be accommodated. Admin, booking and transaction charges may be assessed.

Early Departure (not applicable during block out dates or for extended stay camping specials, and storage agreements)

  • Early Departure for individual reservations 28 days or less
    • 100% of remaining booking value will be forfeited up to 7-days, remainder paid will be put into a camp credit account that can be used for future stays.
  • Early Departure for individual reservations greater than 28 days (normally these are multi month reservations)
    • 14-day advanced notice is required to revise your reservation end date.
    • Prepaid days beyond the 14-day min notice will be refunded.
    • Payment for unpaid days within the min 14-day notice period will be required.
  • Special circumstances will be considered with mangers discretion

Discounted rates are not applicable for reservations that are cancelled. Reservation cancelations will apply current daily rate for days used and applicable forfeited days in refundable amount calculations.

Notes:

  • No refunds are considered for reservations with special reduced rates, long term package specials or for storage reservations.
  • Administration fees and associated card processing fees may apply for all cancelations made.
  • Camp’N RV management retains the right to refuse or evict clients or cancel registrations when disruptive, cause damage, or do not follow the campground policies, terms and conditions, etc., without refund.
  • Block out dates may apply during certain conditions for ability to cancel a reservation for refund.

Refund Policy

NOTE: REFUNDS for reservation days between April 1- August 31, 2024 will not be considered

We know it is your expectation that your confirmed booking is firm and a site will be available for you when you arrive for the full term of the reservation. Alternatively it is our expectation that your booking is firm as well.

There are NO Refunds for storage bookings, for discounted camping package bookings or evictions.

We understand that sometimes there are exceptional circumstances that need to be considered. The campground management reserves the right to apply applicable fees paid toward future stays or refund to you directly. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis as per cancelation policy.

Any deposits paid will be refunded at the time of check out less fees owing. Check out can be done in person during office hours, or communicated in advance of departure date for refunds to apply.

Privacy Policy 

We, Camp’N RV, take our privacy obligations seriously and we’ve created this privacy policy to explain how we treat your personal information collected. 

Our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information are regulated by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada), or similar privacy legislation applicable in Alberta, as amended from time to time. You can find more information about your privacy rights at the web site of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC), http://www.priv.gc.ca

Profile Information

We collect information from you when you register or make a booking. This includes your email address, phone numbers and additional demographic information as provided by you at the time of registration.   We collect this information in order to analyze and interpret it to help meet our objectives and obligations and to communicate with you information related to your booking or inquires. The information you provide may be stored on an external link cloud based campground management system.

Our website may contain links to other websites. Those links are provided for convenience and are not maintained by Camp’N RV. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of linked websites and we suggest you review the privacy policies of those websites before using them. 

Reservations

Bookings can be made directly from our website reservations link for camping sites.

Camp’N RV management retains the right to refuse or evict clients or cancel registrations when disruptive, cause damage, or do not follow the campground policies, terms and conditions, etc., without refund.

Specific sites are assigned on arrival and we do not reserve a specific site number for you but try to accommodate your preferences based on your site type booked and availability when you arrive. 

Safety and Liabilities

As in any work situation campers should complete a hazard assessment of the areas they are using and protect themselves accordingly. Examples of potential hazards could include but are not limited to: slippery surfaces, un-level ground, insects, storm events, fire risks, uncontrolled or off leash pets, protection of eyes near vegetation, power outages, etc.

We endeavor to monitor and maintain a safe area for you and your property but we do not guarantee protection from vandals or criminal activity.

Where you find issues related to our systems or property that may be a safety issue, please advise the campground office immediately. We are unable to make corrections if we are not aware of it.

The site registrant shall have adequate insurance and assumes full liability for damage or injury for themselves, guests, visitors, pets, vehicles, camping or storage units for any type of loss, injury, peril or damage which may occur while on the CampN RV property.  

Misc fees

Additional Misc. Fees and Costs occurred will be charged to your account including but not limited to the following:

Booking modification Fee-$15.00

Cancelation admin fee - $15.00

Scheduled payments $6.00 per transaction

Late site renewal fee- This applies to sites occupied without a valid reservation after the checkout time- Camping $15.00 per day, Storage $15.00 plus $1.00 per day.

Deposits such as storage security deposits or electric metered site deposit. - Prices vary.

Clean up/property damages fee- prices vary based on circumstances and costs occurred.

Rentals or items sold- prices vary

Other fees as listed.

CAMPING INFORMATION

Sites

Reservations other than our economy sites include use of internet, shower house and Rec facilities, community fire pits, play spaces with the caveat that these are complementary services and misuse, hazards or operational issues may require us to restrict or eliminate these services.  

Location of anchors or posts placed deeper than 6” must be communicated to the office as there are shallow lines that may be damaged.  

Sites are limited to one camping unit or tent per site. 

If you are pulling out your camper for repair or a short time and planning to return, please advise our office prior to departure. Otherwise, we will assume you have checked out and no longer are needing your site. 

Wifi

We do offer free limited wifi, though we are limited in band width to 6 Mbps from our service provider. Speed and access can be an issue when usage is high.

Users should limit their use to searches and emails. If you are intending on streaming or gaming please use your own data plan. Wi-Fi signal is broadcasted from our common room and signal may not be accessible from your campsite.

Extra Guests

Sites fees are based on a maximum of two adults and their children under 18. Over 2 adults $10.00 per person per day is calculated in the rates shown when doing an online booking.  Visitors must check in at our office prior to proceeding to your site and may be required to purchase a day use pass.

Group Rates

Please contact the campground office directly for quotation for group stays and functions.

Camping units

RV units are to have an operating smoke and CO2 alarm. Electrical and Gas equipment must be maintained in good operating condition. All units are to bear a valid license plate and be insured for liability and perils that may occur while on the campground property. Proof of insurance or unit safety certificate may be requested by the campground management as a condition of stay.

Laundry

Laundry facilities can be found in both our shower house and common room building.

Machines take $1.00 coins. (Coins and laundry soap are available for purchase at the office)

Washrooms and Showers

Camp’N RV facilities include 3 showers two toilets for men and 2 showers and toilets for women. During busy times if you choose to use our facilities instead of using your camper facilities you may be subject to wait times. Covid-19 health restrictions may apply to the access to these facilities. There is no additional charge for shower usage for paid camping patrons.

Our expectations are general respect for our facilities and for the users that are coming in after you. Removal of your outer footwear and clean up after yourself is required. Abusers of our facilities will be banned for future use. Please do not share our building pass codes to these facilities to others.

Electricity

Our sites vary with 15-amp, 30-amp and 50-amp power supplies depending on your chosen site. Extending power cords from adjacent site or plugging in of electric vehicles is prohibited; please contact the office if you are having power issues.

Rates for metered sites are set on a base site rate plus a Kwh charge for electricity consumption.

Rates charged are set each fall based on a one-year average over the previous year of our utility billing costs.

Metered sites will require an upfront electricity deposit (one month expected usage) paid at time of check-in. Kwh charges will be added to your account monthly (normally 14-16th of the month) and at checkout. Power meter charges are due on receipt.

Sewage

All sewer connections must be made via a threaded adapter securely attached to our inlets. Penalties of $50.00 will be applied to site account for those that do not comply. Adapters are available for purchase at the campground office or at any RV supply store.

Personal items, towels, man wipes, kitchen grease, etc. will cause blockages to sewage lines and pumps, do not flush these items down drains. Dispose of these items in the provided disposal container.

Water, Pressure and Quality

The water pressure varies a little based on your site but would normally not be over 65 psi at any site. 

The water is supplied from an untreated well for our residence on site as well as for the campground and is naturally very soft. Water is potable (drinkable) and samples are tested regularly by Alberta Health. Water analysis and test result reports are posted on a bulletin board in the shower house and common room building.

Taps are not to be left continuously flowing. $400.00 may be charged to campers that are free flowing water. (Note septic tanks require additional dumps at a cost when tap trickle method is being used to keep lines un-thawed during minus temperatures)

Keep lids on water boxes at all times during minus temperatures, use hole in side of water box for hose access as needed.

Pets 

Pets (Dogs and Cats) are welcome with well-trained owners. J

Potentially violent breeds and large dogs may be restricted.

Pets must be kept on leash at all times within campground area; we have large unfenced off-leash areas available for you to allow your pet space to run in field area south and west of the camping area.

Campers are responsible for the safety and liability for their own pets.

Barking dogs may require bark control or removal when bothering other campers.

Clean up after your pet immediately when “nature calls” anywhere on the property.

Do not tie your pets to trees or allow them to urinate on shrubs. Campers will be charged for damage to trees and shrubs caused by your pets.

Standing water on this property may contain an alga that is harmful to animals.

There are pet boarding services available nearby.

Parking

Parking for one vehicle ( car or pick up truck 1 ton or under) per site is included for graveled sites, some sites may accommodate up to two vehicles. Extra parking space may be available in designated areas check in with the campground management for info.

Commercial vehicles and additional trailer parking may be available in our designated areas. contact the office for details and pricing. 

Clients occupying grassed sites normally these are overflow sites are restricted to parking in the designated gravel parking areas. Driving on the grass may be permitted for some overflow site locations with prior approval only from the campground management.

Drugs and Alcohol

Local laws for Drugs and Alcohol apply at our campground. Drug use such as vaping or bongs use must only be used within the confines of your camping unit. Where your usages affect others or other sites you may be requested to cease usage or be requested to leave.

Garbage

Garbage and recycle bins for regular household items is provided in a central location.

Recycled cardboard bin- For CLEAN corrugated cardboard only. No cans, glass or garbage permitted.

Recycled drink container bin- Any drinkable or marked recyclable container such as milk, water, pop, beer, juice, etc. Please do not include garbage or containers that are not marked with a recycle symbol or recycle instructions in this bin.

Metal bin- use this bin for metal discarded items such as old BBQ, used propane bottles, etc.

Garbage bin- For all items not previously listed. We are charged a penalty for recycled products in our garbage bins so please sort as listed.

Ashes from BBQ or Fire pits must be placed in the designated barrel. Do NOT dump onto ground at sites or into tree line.

Fires

Consult with our office prior to starting a wood fire to confirm current limitations, bans and restrictions. Fires are not permitted between 11pm and 7am. 

Wood is available for purchase, wood or propane fire pit rentals are available for booking at our office.

Propane firepits and/or bbq’s are permitted at all sites and all fires must be kept a minimum of 2 meters from trees or shrubs.

Wood Fires are not permitted at sites 1-15, inclusive or at any sites on grass surfaces. Smoke from fires must not negatively impact adjacent sites. Use caution during windy conditions, use of a cover screen is encouraged.

All customer supplied wood fire pits where permitted must be placed on gravel surfaces or remain within the “community use” designated fire pits and must not be left unattended. Fires must be fully extinguished with water when use is finished or by 11 pm.

Penalty for fires not fully extinguished or unattended fires is $100.00, if fines are imposed by the county those penalties start at $500.00.

Penalty for fires after 11pm $50/hr.

Ashes from BBQ or Fire pits must be placed in the designated barrel. Do NOT dump onto grounds or into tree line.

Wood should be neatly stacked and located where protected from being ignited. Limit your supply of wood stored on site.

Fun stuff 

There are games and books and a microwave available for your convenience located in the common room building. DVD movies are available for free sign out at our office. Limited supply of ice, soft drinks, water and snacks are available at our office.

We do have some loaner yard games such as botchy ball, horse shoe, frisbee, etc. that can be booked at the office.

If there is something we can do to make your stay more enjoyable we would be happy to oblige where we can, just contact the office staff with your requests. Parents are responsible for the supervision and conduct of their children, at all times. The play areas may be used at your own risk.

Visit our common room for tourist info or feel free to stop by our office for suggestions. 

Penalties

Penalties (We do not enjoy adding penalties, these penalties are for the few that push the limits without mutual agreement in advance of your intentions)

Clients occupying a site after 11 am of their departure date, or after 11 am of their next payment due date will be charged an additional $15.00 per day above the campsite fee rate. (This fee is not intended to extend your next payment due date, late payments may still result in eviction)

Additional penalties will be applied to clients occupying a site when there are new clients staying at that site that have not been recorded.

Sites occupied and unpaid are subject to late payment fees, admin fees, power disconnection and/or camping unit towed or otherwise removed without prior notice, plus costs occurred and penalties. Penalties and costs will be added to your account.

Additional administrative fees or penalties charged may be added to your account which include and are not limited to; site clean-up (including cigarette butts), pick up of pet feces on grounds, improper sewer connections while dumping, damages to property, driving on grass, or other conditions noted on the campground rules and guidelines.

Traveling with Horses

We do have sites suitable for clients traveling with Horses. Please make these requests directly with the campground office.

STORAGE INFORMATION

Unit Types Accepted

RV’s, Motor Homes, Boats, Utility and Cargo Trailers are accepted. All units must be bare a valid license plate. We will not accept commercial equipment, or vehicles that have to be towed in or do not run.

Deposit

A $100.00 deposit is required on all storage reservations; refund is applied at the time of check out. Deposits will be forfeited for those clients whom do not formally check out.

Fees

All storage site fees are due in advance of term length chosen. For those clients that are permitted to set up extended reservation with monthly billing/payment an extra invoicing fee of $6 will be applied each month.

Penalties of $1.00 per day with min $15.00 apply for late payments/renewal.

It is the responsibility of the storage unit applicant to insure they have kept up the terms of their agreement. Invoices will not be sent out when terms expire. Abandoned units ( Unpaid after 48 hours for short term reservations and after 30 days for long term reservations) may be sold or removed from our property may be sold or removed from our property. Fees for plowing of snow or making access in winter is not part of this agreement. Refer also to our “overdue accounts” fees for unpaid accounts in arrears over 31 days.

All storage site bookings are considered as firm. Refunds for early departures will not be considered.

Sites

A max of one unit per site is permitted. Storage area is on grass surface. Grass is kept cut to lawn length; sites are cut while site is temporarily unoccupied. Planks are preferred under your tires of your unit (protects tires from rot and reduces divots/ruts at sites).

If you require more than one site, contact the office for multiple site discount rates.

Access to sites are available 24/7 much of the year. Winter access may be restricted due to volume of snow limiting you to walk in only. Access in spring is limited during breakup, normally during the month of April; contact the office if you require removal of your unit during this time.

Security

The storage area is partially fenced. Areas where not fenced are secured by a ditch along the perimeters allowing only the entrance gate as the access point. Cameras used for monitoring the area and are strategically placed at entrances and driving access roads.

We endeavor to monitor and maintain a secure storage area for your property but we do not guarantee protection from vandals or criminals. Unit owners are responsible to insure their property against any perils that may occur.
